Calcium is key to a plant’s success, and Grotek Vital™ gives growers a chance to get the level of calcium just right for their plants. As an isolated component, it is possible to dial in a precise level of calcium. The formula also has ultra-low chloride content to ensure better health for the plant and the soil. Vital™ is an excellent choice for all gardens, but is a necessity when growing in Coco.

HELPS REGULATE PLANT DEVELOPMENT

Vital™ helps control cell division and elongation, as well as structure. It also regulates starch metabolism and enzyme activity. Calcium allows plants to effectively uptake and metabolize nitrates; as such, it is an essential component for any nitrates in solution.

HIGHLY PLANT AVAILABLE CALCIUM SOURCE

By mixing calcium carbonate with high concentration organic acid, it is possible to modify the calcium to an acetate form. The calcium in Vital is entirely water-soluble and immediately plant available so there is no lag between application and the plant’s opportunity to absorb and metabolize. Vital™ also avoids unnecessary chlorides when providing calcium, prohibiting the buildup of this potentially phytotoxic molecule.
